If I were to create something called an in-depth article, the result would not be a fresh perspective. It would be testimony to the writer's laziness and the failure of the editorial process. I could be wrong in assessing the source. There may be a game, a statistic, or a story beyond what the extraction system could reach. But in analysis, a writer must stand on evidence, not on speculation. People who call me a disruptor usually understand that I like to break the pre-existing story. This time I have to defend the very foundation of the story: if no token of information is provided, every argument is only an unanchored echo. So the only sports article possible at this moment is a reminder about data integrity. Before asking whether a team can win, ask whether that team exists in the data I am holding. When the wheel has no rim, the mechanic cannot discuss how slippery the road is. I am ready to analyze as soon as an original article or a verifiable information point is provided. Just one name, one moment, one number is enough. Then I will listen to the squeak of the wheel and speak, not before.
